RTD’s mission includes focusing on products that improve the environment. We currently have a number of development projects under way in which the products will have very tangible positive environmental effects.

The RTD environmental policy is based on a lifecycle perspective, which minimizes the total environment impact of the manufacturing, use and disposal of our products. This policy will apply equally to the external environment and internal health and security. The aim is to reach a sustainable development within these two areas.

Within this framework we shall strive to:

  • utilize natural resources as carefully as possible
  • reduce environmental impact by further developing our products and production processes
  • design our products with a view to efficient recycling
  • reduce health and safety risks in the workplace

We shall also actively pursue the environmental improvement process by:

  • informing and educating our employees
  • developing specific environmental goals and action plans
  • following up and reporting on our environmental work
